Q: Are can collection services provided for free?
 
A: Yes. Can Can Recycling provides all collection containers to collectors and there is a free collection service. However during the year we ask individuals and businesses to give in kind support to our project.
 
 
Q: What happens to any money that the organisation makes?
 
A: Can Can Recycling is a social enterprise and all the money we make goes straight back into the project. This helps to pay for expenses such as training allowances for our members and the running cost of our vehicles.
 
 
Q: I am unable to make the journey to your clothes/can banks / I have a vast amount of clothes and bric-a-brac I would like to donate.  Can you help?
 

A: Yes. We can arrange house collections if you have problems getting to our banks, or if you have a vast amount you would like to donate.

 
 
 
 
Q: Where can I donate other items such as cartridges and mobile phones?
 
A: You can take your old phones and used ink cartridges to any of the recycle bins at the council sites. Or we can provide you with a collection bin and then collect it when it is full ,and again,this service is free.
 
 
 
Q: How do you help adults with learning disabilities?
A: We provide 2 year placements within our project to train individuals to move onto other areas such as supported or mainstream employment.
 
 
 
 

 

Q: How can we help support your charity?
A: We welcome all the support we can get from the community.  Donating waste materials and volunteering, are ways in which you can help. Please contact us for further details.
